These terms apply to your use of this website (ewclifecheck.org) and to donations made through it. LifeCheck is a programme of Empowerment Care Foundation, the humanitarian arm of Empowerment Worship Centre (EWC).

Using this website

This site is provided to share information about LifeCheck, our annual medical outreach and back-to-school programme, and to make it easy to donate, volunteer, or partner with us. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes.

Donations

• Online donations are processed securely through Paystack. By donating, you confirm the payment details you provide are accurate and that you are authorised to use the payment method.
• Donations are voluntary contributions to support LifeCheck's programmes. Please contact us directly at hello@empowermentcare.org if you believe a donation was made in error, and we will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
• Bank transfer and Mobile Money donations should be confirmed with our team by email or WhatsApp so we can properly acknowledge and record your gift.

Sponsorship & partnership

Sponsorship packages and benefits described on this site (Platinum, Gold, Bronze, and in-kind partnership) are subject to a separate written agreement between the sponsor and Empowerment Care Foundation, confirmed once terms are discussed directly.

Volunteering

Signing up to volunteer via WhatsApp does not create any employment relationship. Volunteers are expected to follow the guidance of the LifeCheck team on the day of the event.

Content & intellectual property

Photos, text, and branding on this site belong to Empowerment Care Foundation / Empowerment Worship Centre unless otherwise credited, and may not be reused without permission.

No medical advice

Information about LifeCheck's Medical Outreach describes services offered at our events. It is not medical advice, and does not replace consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.

Limitation of liability

We make reasonable efforts to keep this website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we are not liable for losses arising from your use of it, to the extent permitted by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
