This policy explains what information LifeCheck (a programme of Empowerment Care Foundation, the humanitarian arm of Empowerment Worship Centre) collects through this website, and how it is used.

What we collect

• Donation details. When you donate online, your payment is processed directly by Paystack. We receive your email address (for a receipt) and the donation amount and reference; we do not see or store your card or Mobile Money details — Paystack handles that securely.
• Contact form and inquiries. If you message us via the Contact page, WhatsApp, or email, we collect what you send us (name, contact details, and your message) to respond to you.
• Volunteer sign-ups. If you join a volunteer team via WhatsApp, the information you share is used to organise and coordinate that team.
• Standard website data. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics tools may automatically log basic technical information such as browser type and pages visited, to help us understand site usage and keep it secure.

Personal information collected on the ground at LifeCheck events (for example, on medical patient cards or NHIS registration forms) is handled on paper or through NHIS's own systems, not through this website, and is outside the scope of this policy.

How we use your information

• To process and confirm your donation, and send you a receipt
• To respond to inquiries, partnership requests, and volunteer sign-ups
• To coordinate LifeCheck's annual outreach and communicate updates to donors, partners, and volunteers who have contacted us

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

Third parties

Online donations are processed by Paystack, a licensed payment service provider. Their handling of your payment information is governed by Paystack's own privacy policy. Messages sent via WhatsApp are subject to WhatsApp's own privacy practices.

Data retention

We keep donation and contact records for as long as reasonably necessary for accounting, donor stewardship, and legal record-keeping purposes.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by contacting us using the details below.
